Política de IA

The short version
AI helps with the work. It doesn't do the work unsupervised. Every piece of copy, every line of code, and every design decision that reaches you has been read, checked, and approved by a human — me — before it goes anywhere near your site.
How AI shows up in the studio
Day-to-day work is done with the help of AI language-model tools (currently Claude, from Anthropic). That looks like: drafting and refining written copy, researching and structuring content, writing and reviewing code, catching bugs, and speeding up the repetitive parts of a build. This website — including this page — was built the same way: drafted and coded with AI assistance, then edited and approved by me, line by line, before it went live.
What's always human
AI produces a fast first draft. It doesn't get the final say. Concretely, that means:
Nothing generated by AI is delivered to a client as-is — it's a starting point I edit, cut, and rewrite. AI doesn't talk to clients directly; every email, message, and call is me. AI doesn't make the creative or strategic calls — what a site says, how it's structured, and what it looks like are decisions I make, not ones I let a tool make for me. And if something's wrong in the final result, that's on me, not the tool — I don't hide behind "the AI did it."
Put simply: it's copy and code written by a human using AI, not AI-generated work with a human's name on it.
The AI-Readability Pass — a different thing
The Website Tune-Up includes an "AI-readability pass," which is easy to confuse with the above but means something different: it's about structuring your site so tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews can accurately understand and represent your business when people ask them questions. It has nothing to do with AI writing your content — it's making sure your real, human-written content is easy for AI systems to read correctly.
Your data
Client materials aren't pasted into free public AI tools without care for confidentiality, and sensitive personal information is handled the way our Privacy Policy describes, AI tools included. If a project ever calls for something more sensitive than usual, I'll flag it and ask first.
Using AI is part of how projects get built here — it's baked into the process, not a per-client switch, so that part isn't optional. What is your call: if you'd rather your project materials never be used to help train AI models, just tell me and I'll make sure of it for the length of our work together. Say nothing and standard handling applies.
Where AI falls short
AI tools can get facts wrong, sound generic, or miss the context that makes your business yours. That's exactly why nothing skips human review — I treat AI output the way I'd treat a fast, occasionally overconfident junior assistant: useful, but not the one signing off on the final work.
